Detailed description

Gered Gereedschap steunt (leerling) vakmensen in ontwikkelingslanden met kennis, kunde en middelen. De juiste gereedschappen en machines, een gedegen vakopleiding en verdere begeleiding naar en op het werk zijn daar onderdeel van. Het geeft vakmensen de kans om een zelfstandig bestaan als bijvoorbeeld timmerman, automonteur of kleermaker op te bouwen.

Ons werk is het inzamelen en opknappen van oud gereedschap voor deze ontwikkelingslanden:

- het milieu wordt bij ons gespaard;

- hopen een steentje bij te dragen aan een circulaire economie door oud gereedschap niet zo maar weg te gooien en het een tweede kans te geven;

- besparing van grondstoffen en energie;

- een inspirerende werkplek te geven aan mensen die niet meer deelnemen aan het arbeidsproces.

About St. Gered Gereedschap Deventer

Gered Gereedschap is an organization that collects and refurbishes (old) tools for projects in developing countries. For each project in a developing country, the tools are refurbished, sharpened, painted or greased and packed in boxes based on a tool list. \ N \ nActivities \ n \ nGathering and refurbishing of tools. This includes cleaning, sanding, sharpening, grinding, repairing, painting and then packing. The opening hours of the workshop in Deventer are: Monday from 13:00 to 16:30 Tuesday from 10:00 to 17:00 Wednesday from 10:00 to 17:00
