On average, you visit people at home once or twice a month who have difficulty doing the administration. It is expected that these people will not be able to do the administration independently in the future. Therefore, the support is indefinite.
Job description:
As a volunteer you come to people's homes. Depending on the request for help, the following tasks occur: 1. Organizing and maintaining financial administration (such as sorting mail, creating a folder with tabs) via a home visit. 2. Analyzing the problem. 3. Structuring income and expenditure. 4. Requesting and filling in forms together. 5. Familiarize yourself with the legislation and regulations, see whether they make use of the present facilities such as Special Assistance and allowances. 6. Pointing the way to, for example, Social Counselors, SVB, Tax Authorities. 7. Refer to debt counseling.
Job requirements:
Affinity with administration and basic knowledge of finance. Understanding and being able to explain Dutch letters.
What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
As a volunteer you start with an introductory course and you are welcome at intervision meetings and refresher courses. You will be guided by the coordinator.

Working time:
As a volunteer you go on a home visit 1 to 2 times a month. Visiting more people is possible.
