On Wednesday mornings our dentist, Walraven location in Bennekom, has consultation hours. The volunteer picks up and brings the residents to the dentist.
We are looking for a volunteer who can accompany our residents from their home to the dentist and then take them back again.
(Young) dementia patients live at Walraven.
On Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 our dentist is on location. If one of the residents has an appointment, the volunteer will pick up the resident from the home and accompany them to the dentist. Sometimes it is necessary for the volunteer to remain present during the treatment to reassure the resident. When the treatment is finished, the volunteer will bring the resident back.
What do we ask of you?
You are friendly and patient, you have an affinity with the target group (you have experience with dementia), you are proficient in Dutch and are able to push the wheelchair.

- You are entitled to travel expenses (from 5 km one way). - You are insured. - You will receive a gift during the month of the Opella employee. - You will receive the end-of-year gift around Christmas. - You can follow training.
