Seeking volunteers to assist with packing stationery and school supplies for community preschoolsDetailed description
SUKA Society works with indigenous communities to create greater access to education through the establishment of community preschools. Every year, we provide stationery items and school supplies to each school so that they have enough resources for smooth operation.
We have 6 schools in Peninsular Malaysia, and we need help in packing for all of them!
Requirements:
- Basic counting skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- No prior experience needed
About SUKA Society
SUKA Society is a nationally registered non-governmental organisation that works to protect and to preserve the best interest of children.
Our focus is primarily on children who are in the most marginalized and vulnerable of circumstances.
We work on four main areas: –
• Creating greater access to education for indigenous children
• Protecting and restoring women and children trafficked survivors
• Providing case management and community placement for children without parental care
• Advocating for alternative to detention for children affected by immigration detention
