About SHELTER Home For Children
SHELTER Home For Children, established in June 1981, rescue and shelter children who were abandoned, neglected, abused and at-risk. Beyond the residential homes, SHELTER Community Services work with the disadvantaged community to provide education, food and family care.
Our mission is "Giving children at risk a childhood and future by protecting, guiding and healing them and by building loving families and strong communities.". We believe through proactive action to develop social awareness programmes and community-based projects, SHELTER becomes a credible voice in advocating for positive societal changes.
