What do you do as a student volunteer at Adult Care Beekbergen Het Hietveld?

• As part of your training, you will gain at least 80-100 hours of practical experience through volunteer work.

Location and target group

Het Hietveld has locations in Beekbergen, Loenen, and Apeldoorn and supports adults with very intensive support needs. In addition to a mild intellectual disability, there are usually additional behavioral and psychiatric issues such as autism, a personality disorder, or attachment disorder. The support and treatment are aimed at maintaining and developing skills in self-reliance, social independence, and social participation. Clients are given as much direction as possible in their lives, with as few restrictive agreements as possible.
