Versatile volunteers wanted!

What are we looking for:

- Do you have a hobby or are you an expert in a certain area and would you like to share this with others, or

Do you find pastoral meaning important and do you like to talk about it with others?

- Do you play a musical instrument or do you enjoy listening to a piece of music with others and discussing it? Or do you enjoy dancing and sharing this with others?

- You enjoy reciting poems, myths or legends.

- You know a lot about the history of the Netherlands and especially this area and you enjoy sharing this with our older clients.

- For a bit of wellness, you can take care of hands/nails and/or give a hand massage.

- You are creative and enjoy making something beautiful together with our visitors. For example a painting, a collage or a flower arrangement 

- Providing a film experience. Nature documentary, music or for example historical footage reporting.

- You enjoy cooking or baking (together)

- You enjoy walking, you can always go for a walk in the wooded area or use our exercise garden

- Cycling with a tandem bike, going out together.

- You like games, checkers, chess, shuffleboard or rummikub

What are we asking?

- You have an affinity with 1 or more target groups

(Young) people with dementia or a psychiatric disorder

Elderly people with a migration background or people with a physical condition

- You make contact easily and are friendly and patient

- You are proficient in Dutch and if you also speak Arabic you are also cordially invited to respond. We would love to create a meaningful day with you and our clients, sometimes with a different background.

We would like to discuss your interests and possibilities with you. We are open to everything. You can contribute for a half day (3-3.5 hours) in the morning or in the afternoon. This is all possible, for example weekly or once every two weeks or once a month.

Travel expenses from 5 km to a max. of 25 km one way.
