Looking for visiting buddies for the Nudehof (in Wageningen)

At the Nudehof people live independently but with a care indication. The residents have their own apartment and a shared courtyard where they can meet each other. There is also a restaurant where people can eat together at lunchtime.

What are you going to do?

You visit a permanent resident once a week or once every 14 days. You have a chat, play a game or go for a walk. This depends on the resident's needs.

What do we ask of you?

We expect good communication skills from the volunteer and affinity with the target group. It is also nice if you are able to push a wheelchair.

What do we have to offer you?

- You are entitled to travel expenses (from 5 km one way). - You are insured. - You will receive a gift during the month of the Opella employee. - You will receive the end-of-year gift around Christmas. - You can follow training.

What makes the work worthwhile?

Through your visits you make the lives of residents more pleasant and you give a meaningful piece of daily life to someone who experiences loneliness. You work individually but within a large team of volunteers who work at the Nudehof.
