Voor de opvang van Oekraïense vluchtelingen zijn wij op zoek naar (oud)- leerkrachten en onderwijsassistenten. Het aantal nieuwkomersklassen in West-Friesland is flink uitgebreid vanwege de grote instroom vluchtelingen. Toch lukt het nog niet om alle leerlingen onderwijs te bieden.
Voor deze kinderen is het van groot belang om dagritme te hebben, te kunnen spelen met leeftijdgenoten, even kind te kunnen zijn en weer te leren; op weg naar de toekomst.

About Nieuwkomervoorziening West Friesland
Newcomer facility West Friesland provides education for 6 to 12-year-old pupils in their first year in the Netherlands. There are 2 newcomer classes in Hoorn, 1 in Bovenkarspel and 1 in Medemblik. After this year, the students will move on to primary schools in the area. These primary schools also include students with Dutch as a second language who have been in the Netherlands for some time.
Good contact between school and parents is very important. Together they can optimally guide the child. Due to the language barrier and the differences between the Dutch education system and that of the country of origin, this communication between school and parents is sometimes somewhat difficult. We can use help with that.
