The Salvation Army Corps Deventer is looking for a volunteer. This concerns a position of (6 hours a week) for the social welfare work of the Leger des Hei
What you do:
As the host or hostess of our clothing store, you are the calling card of our location. You are there for the visitors; for a cup of coffee, but especially for the conversation. You know how to put people at ease, you know your conversation techniques, you recognize and respect the boundaries of the other in this. When you identify specifics, you work closely with the manager so that any referral can take place.
We ask:
- You are available on Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, and on Friday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
- You have a heart for our target group.
- You are socially involved.
- You master conversation techniques.
- You are patient.
- You can deal well with people who have to deal with psychosocial problems.
- You have respect for other norms and values.
- You respect the objective and mission of the Salvation Army.

You work together with enthusiastic colleagues (volunteers) from the clothing store and debt counseling, but also with social professionals from our ambulatory team and from our support center for prostitution and human trafficking.
