Stichting Leergeld Apeldoorn-Voorst is looking for an intermediary
Stichting Leergeld Apeldoorn-Voorst is a voluntary organization and a private fund with the mission of preventing social exclusion of children from families with minimal financial means. You and your team help to get all children in Apeldoorn-Voorst to participate in things such as buying a bicycle, laptop, going on a school trip, and participating in social activities such as sports and culture.
Job description
A parent/guardian makes an application for his/her children aged 4 to 18 years.
The intermediary is the link between the family and the office. An intermediary quickly builds up a professional relationship of trust with people from various cultures and/or in different circumstances and situations.
Tasks
• Contact the parent/guardian by phone or email to request her
(help) request and make an appointment for an introductory meeting
at home (during corona measures, this can also be done by telephone/digital).
• Mapping out during the introductory meeting:
-what the situation of the family looks like (especially
financial); what other (present) facilities are there
be available to children;
-how the family can be helped by Leergeld
-explanation about our application procedure
• Process the necessary information in our registration system
• Keep in touch with the family, even after processing the first application.
