Will you be the visiting volunteer who goes for a walk with a resident or goes shopping?Detailed description
For several residents in De Matenhof we are looking for someone who likes to go for a walk or grocery shopping with a resident once a week or every two weeks (De Matenhof is located next to the shopping center De Eglantier and a beautiful park). You agree on a time with the resident that suits you and the resident.
At KleinGeluk we leave no chance unused to promote the well-being of the elderly. As a volunteer, you are invaluable to us! Experiencing small moments of happiness together, so that people feel seen. That is what we do it for.
We offer you guidance and you can participate in workshops to develop new skills if necessary. You can start working for a few hours per month.
Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accidents) and before starting work we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).
