Visit a resident and possibly take a walk
De Vlier is a department where residents live on a small scale, with their own apartment but also with a cozy communal living room.
Residents really enjoy receiving visitors and getting attention, having a cup of coffee together, having a chat, going for a walk. In consultation with the resident, you decide how often and when you want to come.
At KleinGeluk we leave no chance unused to promote the well-being of the elderly. As a volunteer, you are invaluable to us! Experiencing small moments of happiness together, so that people feel seen. That is what we do it for.
We offer you guidance and you can participate in workshops to develop new skills if necessary. You can start working for a few hours per month.
Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accidents) and before starting work we request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct).
