Summary

You like to give people a good time. You will enjoy telling them about what you can experience, see and, above all, hear in the museum.

Detailed description

What are you going to do?

Tell about and demonstrate the unique mechanical musical instruments. Explaining the museum's heritage collection and textile and clothing collection.

Being a host/hostess means: welcoming people, selling admission tickets, serving coffee and tea, showing the way in the museum, answering questions, doing odd jobs and, above all, exuding pleasure in your work.

The museum works exclusively with volunteers. Everyone is trained internally. The museum receives more than 10,000 visitors per year. Our guests often come as a group, for example a tour group, a choir, a group of seniors, but also a school class. In addition, there are also many individual visits, both adults and children with their (grand)parents.

Who are we looking for?

You enjoy working in a team and you can work independently. On average, you are available half a day to a full day a week. A good command of the Dutch language is a prerequisite, as is the willingness to learn. Dare to speak in front of groups of visitors.

What do we have to offer you?

A cozy atmosphere. Working with and for others, which you enjoy yourself.

What makes the work worthwhile?

Working with and for others enriches your life.

Working time:

1:30 pm to 5:00 pm
