Welcoming and informing visitors of the Nature and Outdoors Node, the study center of Aardbalans.
Detailed description
What are you going to do?
- hospitable reception of visitors to the Node Nature and Outdoors
- provide practical information to our visitors
- providing coffee/tea for our visitors
- answering questions, including those that come in via the website
- control and manage the public spaces with visitor service in mind
- supervising the correct use of materials by visitors
When is this job right for you?
- minimum MBO-4 work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of hospitality or a comparable service level obtained through experience
- representative and hospitable
- experience with visitor service, preferably at public institutions
- familiar with Office package, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
- excellent command of Dutch, sufficient command of English in speech and writing, preferably also speaking German. Command of French (speaking) and/or Latin (reading) is an advantage.
- willing to work evenings if needed
- affinity with hospitality, desk work and libraries
- knowledge of librarianship and/or Dutch nature is recommended
