Together with another volunteer, you will provide a meal in M17 once every 14 days. Between 20 and 30 people come to eat.
Job description:
Together with another volunteer, you will provide a meal in M17 once every 14 days. Between 20 and 30 people come to eat. The meal starts at 6 pm. Together with the other volunteer you put together the menu using your own creativity, taking dietary wishes into account. Cooking volunteers choose a coordinating cook and an assistant cook per team per cooking session. Shopping within a set budget, unless otherwise agreed. Keep the kitchen clean after use (washing up by dishwashing volunteers, possibly together with visitors). Attending cooking volunteers meeting twice a year for mutual coordination.
Job requirements:
Dutch is needed, because the other volunteer only speaks Dutch. Respect for + not rejecting vision M17, see our website. Hygiene betrachten, working with the Hygiene Code.
What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
Presence courses are offered as equipment. The coordinator is the point of contact for questions and offers coaching / guidance. Both in the corridors and by appointment. The coordinator also points out various relevant courses and training that are organized locally. Volunteer meetings are occasionally organized. Here you meet fellow volunteers and discuss the work together. Collective accident and damage insurance has been arranged for volunteers by the municipality of Wageningen.
What makes the work worthwhile ?:
Our volunteers work in an environment with lots of fun and a relaxed atmosphere. Volunteers meet people they would not normally meet. This gives the opportunity to broaden your social network. Offering hospitality and a listening ear is not a one-way street: you often receive attention and interest from visitors.
Working time:
Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm, once every 2 weeks.
