Our working area includes the municipalities of Ede, Wageningen, Renkum, Rhenen and Veenendaal. The primary task of our board is to facilitate local Humanitas activities related to Youth, Buddy Projects and Home Administration. In addition, take care of communication and raising subsidies and funds. This in collaboration with a professional district office, which carries out the administrative transactions and money flows. This is clearly a more controller-oriented feature.
Job description:
Your duties: Develop and implement the department's financial policy. Assessing proposals for their financial feasibility. Monitoring the budget and checking the annual accounts (which are drawn up by the district office). Inform the board of all relevant financial matters. Approve all financial transactions. Manage and monitor the insurance package of the association, written management of inventory and equipment (if applicable). Ensuring a healthy financial basis for activities. Ensuring adequate use of the Humanitas Registration System (HRS) within the department and identifying and addressing bottlenecks in this. Managing the advisor in charge of the HRS portfolio. Your time investment: We expect you to have a maximum of 8 hours per week available for Humanitas. Participate approximately 10 times a year in the board meeting of the department (in the evenings). Participate twice a year in the district meeting of the financial portfolio holders (in the evenings).Job requirements:

Humanitas Nederrijn is there for anyone who can temporarily use a helping hand. More than 150 volunteers are available for you in the municipalities of Ede, Renkum, Rhenen, Veenendaal and Wageningen. Every year we support more than 1000 residents with our activities.
