Develop the participant's language skills through small trips and a language program with pictures.
Job description:
I am a woman in my mid-40s and have lived in the Netherlands for many years. I am not yet proficient in the Dutch language, but I would like to connect with Wageningen society. That is why I want to practice the language and, for example, go to the market together.Job requirements:
- you rather listen than you talk. - you are open-minded, you are not quick to judge. - you have a searching attitude. - you can take the initiative and especially let the other take it. - makes you enthusiastic, encourages but does not direct.What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
- an enthusiastic volunteer team. - expert guidance and support. - internal training, team consultation and meeting events. - we learn a lot from each other through the mutual exchange of experiences with fellow volunteers. - Liability and accident insurance. - travel allowance.What makes the work worthwhile ?:

Humanitas is there for people who like to go outside now and then, but can't do that themselves without a buddy (anymore). By doing activities with a buddy, they can (again) keep in touch with society.
