As a volunteer you provide practical assistance in complying with the agreements regarding contact arrangements.
A child has the right to contact with both parents. As a volunteer at the Humanitas BOR (= Supervised Access Arrangement for Divorced Children), you support divorced parents with children aged 0 to 12 in implementing the access arrangement. As a volunteer you provide practical assistance in complying with the agreements regarding contact arrangements. At BOR, the interests of the child come first . For example, you discuss with parents that they should not argue in front of their child and should not talk negatively about the other parent. The sooner a well-functioning contact arrangement is established, the sooner children can find their new place with their divorced parents. At the Humanitas BOR in South Limburg there is currently room for expansion and that is why we are looking for you to strengthen our team as:

The function
As a volunteer…
· support your divorced parents in implementing the contact arrangements
· put the child's interests first
· you ensure a positive and relaxed atmosphere in which child and parents feel free together
· offer parenting tips if parents wish.
What do we ask?
As a volunteer…
· do you have experience working with children;
· are you stress-resistant;
· you can adopt a neutral attitude between parents;
· you can listen well without imposing your own opinion;
· are you available one day per week/14 days (after school and/or during the weekend)
· you are willing to participate in periodic training
· you put the Humanitas values into practice
· a car is easy, but not necessary
