Coaches

Coaches at Hfftig are volunteers from Apeldoorn who would like to do something for young people.

Who can become a coach?

Do you find it a challenge to help young people who are not sure how to get started? Are you enthusiastic and patient and willing to invest time in young people? Do you have coaching skills? Then you are very welcome as a coach at Hfftig.

After registration we will contact you and make an appointment for an introductory meeting in which we will exchange information. We also ask you to provide a written motivation including a CV.

If both parties are positive about the future collaboration, you will be registered as a volunteer at Stimenz. We request that you submit a declaration of conduct and agree to the code of conduct for coaches. We also ask you to follow the initial training for coaches and to attend the intervision meetings a few times a year.

When these matters are arranged, you can be linked to a young person. How quickly this happens also depends on the young people who register with Hfftig. The link between young person and coach is customized and we look at the profile that suits you for new registrations.

Coaching skills

You have an open attitude and you can communicate clearly. You have the ability to understand young people and their world of experience. You can act in accordance with the wishes, standards and values of the young person. You are able to motivate and stimulate the other. For you, key words such as safety, taking time and offering trust are important.
