Hersenschade.nl, contact group Wageningen meets 10 times a year on the first Tuesday of the month (with the exception of July and August) from 8 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m. The location is likely to become the Odense house.

The participants are those affected by NAH, their relatives, counselors and other interested parties (NAH = Non-Congenital Brain Injury). In principle, one must be a member, but one can try a small number of times.

The aim of the meetings is that the participants

• have contact with fellow sufferers;
• getting information: this can be done by inviting a guest who tells about her/his field of expertise/shows/experiences things; this can be, for example, a neurologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, or someone from the municipality (WMO). This can also be done by the contact person himself;
• another subject in the recreational/relaxing atmosphere, such as sports and games, holiday experiences, etc

The contact person (this can also be a duo) is expected to prepare the meetings and to lead the meetings. He/she does not need to have a professional background, although familiarity with NAH is an advantage.
