Detailed description
Collect items from people's homes and from the recycling container at the waste and recycling station; deliver things to people's homes.
Job description:
Take things away from people's homes together with the driver and other co-driver, place them in the car, secure them if necessary. Also carry out delivery orders during the route. Empty the recycling container at the waste and recycling station, put good items in the car, and items that are not usable go into different containers. Back at Emmaus, unload the car and put things in the shop or sorting areas.
Job requirements:
Have good mobility. Can lift well. Diligent. Collaborate in lifting and transporting larger furniture.
What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
Coziness; contact with employees. More than 30 volunteers work at Emmaus. Spacious cabin with heating and air conditioning. Coffee Tea.
What makes the work worthwhile ?:
Understanding the Emmaus method: giving people and things a new chance. To get to know people. Getting to know and appreciate things. Contributing to solidarity with the disadvantaged.
Working time:
Tuesdays from 9 am - 1 pm
