Every Monday morning (other parts of the day can be discussed) the language class group ToTaal meets. The members have a disability.
ToTaal meets every Monday morning from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The members have a limitation. We are looking for an extra volunteer to replace and assist the permanent volunteers if necessary. You can meet the group in an interview on the website of Digitaalhuiswageningen.
Job description:
It will be your job to help compile and implement the curriculum. In a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, the participants are assisted in their learning desire on an individual level. There are always 2 volunteers present. The attendance schedule is determined in mutual consultation. Regular availability is a prerequisite.
Job requirements:
You must have affinity with the target group and enjoy working with them in the Dutch language in a playful way. In spoken and written form. You are there for them for 2.5 hours and contribute to the good atmosphere.
What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
Support and advice from the language house teacher of the Digital House. You become a volunteer at the Digital House. In case of larger meetings for the volunteers, you will also be invited.
What makes the work worthwhile ?:
The enthusiasm of the participants is very contagious. You make a significant contribution to their lives.
Working time:
9:00 am to 11:30 am
