Volunteer SchilderKlup – Creative support with a heart for people and art

What is the SchilderKlup?

The SchilderKlup is an inspiring group for participants with a (mild) intellectual disability who love painting and want to develop their creativity. They work with themes and there is attention for painting and drawing techniques.

The works of art are not only made with pleasure, but also proudly displayed during exhibitions in the Apeldoorn City Hall, Galerie de Klup and at other organizations or companies.

What will you do as a volunteer?

You support the participants during the activity: you help to prepare materials, think about creative ideas and stimulate the participants in their work. You do not have to be a professional artist - enthusiasm and a sense of guidance are more important!

What do we expect from you?

• You are available weekly or regularly during the painting activity (Monday evening from 6:45 PM - 8:45 PM)
• You enjoy being creative with others
• You can provide positive guidance and encouragement
• You are committed, patient and can work independently and in a team
