Action at the BoksKlup on Thursday evening at the Gym.
The Gym has set up a Boxing Club in collaboration with the Klup Apeldoorn. Here René trains a super enthusiastic group of people with an intellectual disability every week.
On Thursdays we train from 19:00-20:00. We are looking for a fellow volunteer who supports the trainer and guides the people. It involves encouraging, helping with counting, giving short instructions and ensuring a pleasant and safe atmosphere. Where and When:
Every Thursday evening from 7pm to 8pm at The Gym, Jean Monnet Park.
We ask:
• Affinity with people with intellectual (multiple) disabilities
• Supervision of the Boxing Club
• Flexibility and sportsmanship in dealing with our participants
