Moth

Do you want to mean something to someone in his or her last phase of life and do you like the silence and the special atmosphere of the night? Then you could be a very good 'moth'.

People who want to die at home, in their own familiar environment, can appeal to the support of the Kap. As a 'moth' (volunteer for the night) you are not only there for the dying person, but also for the caregiver(s). Because you watch over the sick person at night, the carer has the opportunity to catch his breath and the next of kin can sleep at night. This allows them to maintain care for longer. In this way you make a substantial contribution to the best possible last period of life.

As a night volunteer you work independently and when it suits you. Experience in healthcare is not required, but reliability and empathy are. You will receive extensive training, guidance and reimbursement of expenses.
