What do we expect from our editors?
- You know how a well-written article works;
- Preferably you also like to write;
- You are well acquainted with WordPress;
- You are a real comma freak;
- You have a feeling for language, layout and design (including image editing).
Here's what we expect from all our editorial volunteers:
- You are socially involved and have an affinity with the subjects of animals, nature and the environment;
- You have demonstrable writing experience and you are creative;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
- You are collegial;
- You are available for a few hours a week (more is possible, in consultation);
- You have a flexible attitude, a strong social personality and you stand firm;
- You can work very well independently and have a strong sense of responsibility;
- You own a computer with access to the internet and you have the ability to:
- to work from home.

AnimalsToday.nl is the media platform of animal welfare organization House of Animals, a non-profit foundation. AnimalsToday is made possible by a team of dedicated volunteers. Our website is provided daily with animal news, promotions, opinion and background articles, photos, blogs, vlogs, reports, short documentaries and much more. This requires a passionate editorial team and editors who write, monitor quality and publish the articles.
