Board member Adamfo Ghana

Adamfo Ghana - a foundation that works for street children in Ghana - is looking for an extra board member. This is your chance to give Ghanaian children a better future! As a board member you can gain experience and make your contributions at the same time. Are you good at PR and communication, great! Or do you like to do fundraising or keep the website up to date, also super nice. Do you have other qualities with which you can help us? We would like to hear from you!

Job description:

You participate in our pleasant board and (in consultation) you are involved in: • Communication tasks such as posting messages on the social media (Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin) and (co-) compiling the semi-annual Newsletter; • Contributing to fundraising, reporting, project development, etc; • Visit of Partin days, Africa days and networking with other organizations in NL; • Other related jobs where there is a lot of room for your own input. Again, we would like you to do the things you enjoy doing. And together and in consultation we make it happen.

Job requirements:

What we would like to see (but not a must) • It is very nice if you have knowledge of PR and communication; • Experience with the management of websites (Wordpress) and the use of social media, nice! • You have an affinity with international cooperation and street children (in Ghana); • You are an enthusiast who would like to help us with your good ideas; • You have a good command of both English and Dutch (our meetings are in English); • You can work independently from home; • But also likes to see each other sometimes 'in real life' (read: consultation)! • You have about 2 hours a week to do something for Adamfo Ghana. Sometimes less is possible, we don't clock you;)

This is what you get in return • Together with a motivated team you are actively involved and you bring about a positive change for street children in Ghana; • A varied range of tasks and the possibility to expand your skills by, for example, following training courses from the national organization Wilde Ganzen; • A lot of freedom in putting forward and developing your own ideas; • Travel and other expenses are reimbursed in consultation.
