Acquiring financial resources for the Nature and Outdoors Hub, the study center of Aardbalans
What are you going to do?
- coordination of needs for which financial resources are acquired
- making an inventory of the requirements that funds and foundations impose on financing
- writing project and financing proposals
- writing grant applications and arranging their administration
- maintaining contacts with (potential) lenders
- acquiring funds to finance projects and activities of the Node, Nature and Outdoor Living
- providing financial accountability for allocated and spent funds in reporting
- ensuring correct completion of the project towards fund providers
When does this job suit you?
- minimum HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the field of financial services
- at least 2 years of experience in acquiring financial resources for non-profit organization(s)
- thorough knowledge of the subsidy landscape at all government levels, preferably also experience with European subsidies
- experience with sponsorship, crowdfunding and other forms of income generation
- demonstrable track record for raising funds
- excellent communication skills in Dutch and preferably also English
- antenna for opportunities by responding to current events and policy
- contribute ideas to setting up new forms of fundraising
- honest, accurate and punctual
- affinity with nature, heritage and/or sustainability
