Detailed description
WWF is looking for sporty and enthusiastic volunteers for the very first edition of the WNF-Family Expedition!
This two-day outdoor experience takes place in the weekend from 30 September in a nature reserve in (the south of) the Netherlands. During the event, parents with their son or daughter (10-16 years) can experience exciting adventures in Dutch nature. As a team they carry out all kinds of fun, sporting and challenging assignments. They learn special skills that a park ranger needs in the field.
And they also help tigers in the wild! Because, not only does the registration fee (300 euros per team) go to the tiger, the teams also try to collect as much money as possible by finding sponsors among their family, friends and colleagues. This goes through our new platform kominactie.wnf.nl . The expedition takes place under the professional and enthusiastic leadership of outdoor company OUTREX, specialized in outdoor, training and expeditions.
Make sure you're there! u>
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to help. A great opportunity to experience the expedition from very close! You are in the middle of this unique event and contribute to the nature conservation work of WWF. And of course you also have a few pleasant days!
As a volunteer (from the age of 18) you are indispensable. You ensure that the participants lack nothing and they can fully focus on completing their parkrange training. You work together with a large group of enthusiastic volunteers and highly motivated participants. Of course, food and drinks are provided. If you want to help both days, then there is the possibility to stay overnight. This will be primitive, just like for the participants: either to build your own accommodation or in a tent.
About 30 volunteers are needed per day. We prefer people who are available for at least a full day. You can help with different components such as:
construction team (set up base camp)
· & nbsp ; breakfast / dinner team
· occupation checkpoint
· administrative function (processing of registrations and results)
· guiding and helping with assignments
In the coming period, we will first take stock of how many applications we receive and keep you informed by email. Then we need some additional information from you. We will contact you about this. Of course you will receive a briefing by mail, but also on location during the event.
