Function information
Gerrit is a 56-year-old man with a mild intellectual disability, who also has psychiatric problems. He can express himself well verbally and is also very mobile. Gerrit likes tinkering and cycling, he also loves animals very much. Due to his disability, he does need some support and that is why we are looking for you.
It is nice for Gerrit that he gets to know and trust you first and that can take quite some time. It is also important that you can communicate clearly and set boundaries in a calm manner. And we are happy to help you with that.
Gerrit is looking for someone in their 50s who would like to cycle with him to the GG-net, go to church, buy something in town, or have a conversation with the Reverend. The times and days can be discussed in consultation with us. If you would like to travel with Gerrit, we would love to hear from you.

Organization information
Within 's Heeren Loo, the efforts of volunteers are valuable. They contribute to a meaningful life for people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the many volunteers of 's Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and fulfill personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
