Who is Nadja?
Nadja is a 34-year-old woman with a mild intellectual disability. She likes to socialize and likes to chat. She lives independently in her apartment with guidance from supervisors. She is mobile and uses a tricycle. She has stuffed animals that she treats like her stuffed animals, she loves Michael Jackson and tinkering. Mentally and physically Nadja can get tired quickly. She is sensitive and can get upset if she doesn't oversee it for a while. Guidance is always available in the apartment complex.
What does Nadja ask?
Nadja would like a volunteer to visit her once a month in her apartment. Preferably on a Saturday after 2 p.m. Someone who likes to get to know her better over cups of coffee or tea. Have a nice chat and possibly do fun things together in the future if you know each other better and are ready. The volunteer must be patient, be a good listener, calm and understanding. Preferably a woman. The age doesn't matter.
