Who are we?
Within 's HeerenLoo Apeldoorn we have a number of day care locations for people with severe multiple disabilities. 5 days a week or less, our clients with severe multiple disabilities go to day care. Unfortunately, due to the workload, there is not always time for all the extra nice things that are of added value for the clients. With that workload, you push a wheelchair harder and with less attention than when you can take the time for a nice walk that you can enjoy together. With that workload, not every client gets a tut moment in which the nails are painted and music is listened to together. That is why we are looking for people who like to offer that extra attention. Volunteers increase the network of our clients and increase the happiness of life!
What do we ask?
We are aware that it is quite exciting to sign up as a volunteer just like that.
Especially if you have no experience with people with severe multiple disabilities.
That is why we offer the opportunity to take a look with an experienced supervisor.
Just take a look in the kitchen without any further obligations.
Who knows, it might make you enthusiastic and sign up as a volunteer.
Come together with your neighbor or friend and become a duo volunteer!
Do you have a few hours a week to spare?
We offer you
• A nice volunteer place
• An end-of-year gift
• Insured for third party liability and accidents
• Travel allowance
• Annual volunteer party as a thank you for your efforts
• Opportunity for training and information meetings
• Committed contribution to clients
• Full appreciation and a priceless experience
Organization information
Within 's Heeren Loo, the efforts of volunteers are valuable. They contribute to a meaningful
existence of people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the many volunteers of
's Heeren Loo we can organize extra activities and personal attention and
fulfill client needs. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or
just having a good conversation over a cup of coffee.
