Summary

The farm is a beautiful place where our clients like to come to be among the animals, this garden needs to be maintained

Detailed description

Who are we?

We are a day care group located on the farm in the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo.

Together with the clients and supervisors, we take care of the animals that live on the farm. Such as horses, rabbits, ducks, goats and pigs. The farm is accessible to clients, employees, relatives and volunteers. This is a nice place among the animals for many clients. To make this a pleasant and beautiful place for both the clients who work there and the clients who visit, we work hard to take good care of the animals and maintain the farm. We could still use the help of volunteers who can help us maintain the garden. We used to do this ourselves, but due to budget cuts it is very nice to have help available. A lawn mower, brush cutter and leaf blower is available.

What do we ask?

We ask for several volunteers who can maintain our garden.

Preferably during the week when we are there ourselves (due to possible unrest from the animals)

We are there until 4:00 PM during the week and until 12:00 PM on Saturday mornings. Or you have to be so experienced as a volunteer that you can only do it during the weekend.

Someone who can weed weeds, maintain the vegetable garden and maintain the pasture.

It doesn't have to be spick and span every week, it's still a farm.

But preferably someone who enjoys coming to do it on a regular basis.

If you like it, there are also small jobs that need to be done regularly.

Would you like to come and meet us and have a coffee?

We offer you

  • A nice volunteer place
  • An end-of-year gift
  • Insured for third party liability and accidents
  • Travel allowance
  • Annual volunteer party as a thank you for your efforts
  • Possibility of training and information meetings
  • Involved contribution to clients
  • Full appreciation and a priceless experience
