Organization information
Within 's Heeren Loo, the efforts of volunteers are valuable. They contribute to a meaningful life for people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the many volunteers of 's Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and fulfill personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
Who is Jan?
Jan is a man from 1948 with severe intellectual disability. Jan understands what you are saying, but cannot speak himself. Jan is a quiet aging man. He likes individual attention and he can adapt easily. He likes to do many different activities.
What does Jan ask?
Jan likes to do many different activities. To think of; On Saturdays swimming, walking, days out and activities organized by 's Heerenloo itself.
Do you also enjoy these activities and do you have an affinity with people with intellectual disabilities? And if you are clear, sweet and patient, then Jan would like to meet you!
