Who is Gerleen?
Gerlien is an elderly lady with a mild intellectual disability. She communicates well and clearly knows what she wants and what she doesn't want.
She loves collecting things and browsing flea markets.
Gerlien likes a joke and fun.
Every now and then Gerlien can no longer oversee it and asks for guidance and clarity. Gerlien attaches great value to a volunteer who fulfills his/her agreements.
What is Gerlien looking for?
Gerlien is looking for a volunteer who wants to take her all day to a flea market in the Netherlands once a month. She prefers to stay from the beginning to the end. Perhaps someone has their own stall?
She would like to roam the market herself and does not need to be followed all day. Eating together is a lot of fun.
You need to make clear arrangements with her about when you will go home.
She is looking for a man or a woman over 40 years old, at least without small children. Gerlien would like to sit in the back of the car.
