Who wants to accompany Nel during the swimming activity on Thursday in the afternoon?
Who is Nel?
Nel lives in a residential group for people with an intellectual disability with an intensive need for guidance. Communication takes place via verbal and non-verbal communication supported by pictograms. Nel can be verbally restless and then benefits from closeness. She needs verbal support at the ADL, but she does everything herself. She can cycle on the tandem, so she also goes to the swimming pool with her volunteer. When you get to know Nel a little better, you see that she enjoys swimming. She can have fun alone in the pool, but also likes it when the volunteer does something with her in the pool.
Activities
We are looking for someone who can swim with Nel every Thursday between 17:00 and 17:30. The volunteer picks her up at the property on the property and goes to the swimming pool which is also located on the property. You help Nel change with that and go into the pool. If the day/time does not work out, we can always see if there is anything that can be done about it.
