Detailed description
Who is Eddie?
Eddy is a 66-year-old man with a moderate intellectual disability and autism. He communicates verbally, is mobile and self-reliant within the group where he lives. He likes to be creative and can express himself well in painting. He used to be able to play short songs on the keyboard, but he can't do that anymore. He can imitate simple rhythms. Eddy enjoys the presence of people, but does not like to be touched. He finds new things exciting and can make him nervous. He is well supported in this. He appreciates help and relaxes with the right activity.
What does Eddie ask?
Eddy is looking for someone who will come for him once in a while on Wednesday or Saturday. Someone who wants to paint with him. These don't have to be works of art, but being busy painting together is relaxing for him. And someone who can play keyboard with him. Perhaps again explain the buttons with colors and enjoy the music together.
