Detailed description
Gerrit is a man from 1942. He receives guidance from his own apartment.
Gerrit has a mild intellectual disability. And is completely independent with some guidance from the guidance team. He is completely mobile and independent in and around Apeldoorn. He travels independently by public transport to daytime activities in Voorst and by bus in Apeldoorn. Gerrit is very present both verbally and physically. He is a social person, but likes to decide how or what. It therefore requires tact to deal with this adequately. He loves good food and is morbidly obese. He likes sports, especially football. In the past he has run marathons and played soccer himself. Now he often walks for an hour in the morning. His family lives far away, hence the vacancy for a buddy for Gerrit. Gerrit is looking for someone with whom he can go for a walk, visit a football match, have a chat, watch sports on TV, have a coffee somewhere, but above all someone who gives him personal individual attention.
He appreciates and soon enjoys someone who comes especially for him and then feels valuable.
