Maroesja is a friendly 23-year-old girl with an intellectual disability. She'd love to go on a fun outing every now and then.
Who is Maroesja?
Maroesja is a friendly young woman with a mild intellectual disability. She lives in a group home outside the 's Heeren Loo residential care park. She has a sense of humor and is usually cheerful. She is generally very independent. She can walk and cycle well and is safe in traffic. Maroesja is a good communicator and conversationalist. She sometimes has difficulty adjusting and needs some time to do so. She loves horseback riding, listening to music, watching movies, hiking, and going on outings. If the volunteer has a dog, she would love to walk or play with it. Her developmental age is comparable to that of a teenager. Wednesdays are her day off.
What is Maroesja asking?
Maroesja would love to go on a fun outing with a volunteer; for lunch or dinner, drinks, shopping, or a trip to the cinema. She has the budget for this herself. If the volunteer has a dog, she would love to take it for a walk or play. Maroesja finds it important that the volunteer is a good listener, calm and clear, and has a sense of humor. She can work all day on Wednesdays; that's her day off.
