Who is Yvonne?

Yvonne is a friendly lady of 60 years old with a mild intellectual disability, comparable to a teenager. She lives in a residential group outside the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo, on the northeast side of Apeldoorn. Yvonne can communicate well. She can no longer cycle and is therefore dependent on transport. She can walk and therefore enjoys trips to Orpheus, the cinema or shopping together. When she is at home she likes knitting and watching TV. Yvonne would like to enjoy the nice things in life together. The best thing would be if the volunteer could visit her in the evening or at the weekend.

What is Yvonne asking?

For Yvonne we are looking for someone, preferably a woman of 45 years or older, who can make trips with her to Orpheus, the cinema or go for a walk and go shopping. She also gets very happy from having a cup of coffee together. Yvonne is looking for someone who is kind and patient and can offer a listening ear. Yvonne goes to her day care during the day, so the preference is for an evening or the weekend. She would like to make a big or small trip at least once a month. Every now and then she would like to go to the Orpheus theatre on Saturday. The preference is for someone from the Apeldoorn area.
