Summary

Are you patient? Are you clear? And would you like to be a buddy for Ramon?

Detailed description

Who is Ramon?

Ramon is a 33-year-old man with a mild intellectual disability. He lives in a residential group on the grounds of 's Heeren Loo, where he receives intensive guidance. He is solidly built, has short-shaven hair and often wears an Ajax tracksuit with a cap. A tough guy. Ramon can be very cheerful and then gets a nice smile on his face. He is especially happy with football! A big fan of Ajax and Go Ahead Eagles. But gaming, watching FIFA and Formula 1 are also hobbies of his. Ramon's trust is not easily gained, it takes time. But when he gets to know someone better, he dares to open up a bit more. If he is not feeling well or wants something that is not possible, he can get angry by swearing or slamming the door. Of course, his supervisors will guide the volunteer in this, so that you have tools to deal with this. A challenge! But if you get to know him well and he feels comfortable, he can attach a lot of value to you. He mentions that he is glad you are there for him and can really give you a sense of satisfaction and gratitude. Who will take on this challenge with him?

What is Ramon asking?

For Ramon we are looking for a volunteer who connects with his hobbies. Someone who enjoys football, formula 1 or gaming just as much. Of course it would be nice if he could come with you to a football match of Ajax or Go Ahead Eagles. Playing games together, watching football, going to the cinema, the media market or a toy store. Just doing fun guy things together! But a volunteer who can be clear, can say no and keeps agreements. Preferably in the weekend, because he has a lot of free time then. Preferably once every 2 weeks/once a month.

We offer you

  • A nice volunteer position
  • An end of year gift
  • Insured for third party liability and accidents
  • Travel expenses reimbursement
  • Annual volunteer party as a thank you for your efforts
  • Possibility of training and information meetings
  • Committed contribution to the clients
  • Full appreciation and a priceless experience
