Alvin is looking for a buddy who comes especially for him

Who is Alvin?

Alvin is a 23-year-old young man with a mild intellectual disability. He lives in a residential group in de Maten, where he receives 24-hour guidance. Alvin is a sweet, helpful boy with humor. He likes gaming, cooking, cinema, gymnastics and likes to go to the woods for a walk or go for a ride in the car. He cannot do this alone and would like to do it with a volunteer. Alvin has autism. Structure and clarity give him something to hold on to.

What does Alvin ask?

We are looking for a buddy for him who would like to go out with him once a month or rather more often.

Escape from the crowds for a while. Someone who, just like him, enjoys socializing.

A walk in the woods, a tour in the car, watching a movie in the cinema or another fun outing in consultation. On Wednesday evening or at the weekend.

Just an hour or 2 on the road is already of great added value.

Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
