Detailed description
At Restart Network impact week is the name given to the last week of the Bootcamp. This is the week where our students apply everything that they have learned throughout the Bootcamp journey in to practice, in this week our students work on real world projects from NGOs. NGOs who share our values come to Restart Network to pitch their projects, after this our students in close collaboration with the NGO work on a week-long Hackathon to build a prototype.
By tackling challenging projects from NGO’s and work on them for a full week, In the past, our students have produced outstanding prototypes for real-world projects.
NGOs are very keen to joining our program because we share the same values and also it gives them the advantage of having 3-4 prototypes for their projects that they can further follow up with.
Below are some of our partner NGOs that have part-taken in the Impact Week Projects:
If you are an NGO and have a project in mind please visit https://restart.network/ or contact eseyas@restart.network.
About RE/START
We empower refugees and underrepresented minorities in tech, like mothers who raised kids and want to start a new career, by bringing together key stakeholders in cities to build brick-and-mortar schools with a different view on how learning should look like. We call this model the Crowdsourced School.
We run a tuition-free one-year long program and guide our students to become their best selves while learning the fundamentals of web development. Our campus, at CIC Rotterdam, is surrounded by more than 120 tech companies. We rally together industry leaders to create an outstanding learning experience.
