Do you have an affinity for public transport and enjoy helping others? Experience Public Transport is looking for residents of Overijssel, Flevoland, or Gelderland to volunteer as public transport ambassadors.
Public transport ambassadors provide information about public transport to anyone who finds it difficult to travel by public transport. During consultations, information sessions, courses, and trial trips, public transport ambassadors answer questions about topics such as OVpay, planning a trip, discounted travel, ticket machines at the station, and checking in and out with various public transport companies. The public transport ambassadors are ready to provide explanations, advice, and personalized guidance. Together, we make public transport accessible to everyone.

What can you expect from us?
- Training and support: of course, you're not alone. As a public transport ambassador, you'll receive training, support, and guidance from experienced public transport ambassadors and project staff.
- Network of colleagues: we organize refresher days where all public transport ambassadors can share their knowledge and experiences and where you can be kept informed of the latest developments. Approximately 50 public transport ambassadors work in small regional teams with various activities. We also organize an annual outing.
- Flexibility: You can decide how much time you want to dedicate to your public transport ambassadorship. As a guideline, a minimum commitment of three half-days per month is recommended.
- Travel expenses reimbursement: Public transport ambassador is a voluntary position, so travel and other expenses are reimbursed.
