Become an Ambassador for Children's wanderings

Every child must be able to belong!

For 1 in 8 children in our country that is not so obvious. They grow up in poverty and feel excluded. Kinderhulp helps them with the contribution for a sports club, a bicycle, a training, a day out for the necessary relaxation and swimming lessons. We are there for them, even if they can not go anywhere else. & Nbsp;

Kinderzwerfboek is looking for enthusiastic ambassadors for promotion in their own region (volunteer function). Do you enjoy reading and do not turn your hand around organizing and coordinating? Then we're looking for you!

Childzwerfboek is part of the National Child Aid Fund and encourages children to read. Not all children have nice books at home. That is why we urge everyone to use (free) stickers to turn children's books into childrens' books and send them out to roam. Then even more children can read these books. We get help from ambassadors who publicize Kinderzwerfboek in their region. For many regions in the Netherlands we are still looking for ambassadors.

Are you a Kinderzwerfboek Ambassador? then:

• do you love children and books;
• you can easily make new contacts;
• are part of the Kinderzwerfboek Ambassadeur team;
• do you want to spend 4 to 8 hours a month on Kinderzwerfboek?
• do you have contact with the Kinderzwerfboek coordinator and other people involved?
• can you enthuse others;

• do you like tackling.

What activities can you undertake?

• Building a network of local stakeholders who (want to) embrace. You enthuse and support them in setting up a Kinderzwerfboek station and / or an action. These include schools, community centers, food banks, writers, publishers and companies / entrepreneurs.
• Motivating individuals (children and parents) to let children's books roam.
• Disseminating (new) donated childrens' books.
• 1 or 2 times a year Promoting a children's book on a (book-) market or other event.
• Organizing collection of children's books.
• Paying attention to Children's wanderings through your own network and Social Media channels.
• Attending meetings with other Children's wanderers to inspire each other.
• You can also do these activities together with others (children, neighbor, girlfriend ....)

What does Kinderzwerfboek offer you?

• a position as a volunteer (therefore no financial compensation);
• membership of the Kinderzwerfboek Ambassadeur team, initially for one school year;
• a toolkit with digital files, children's books, flyers, stickers, balloons;
• support from the Children's Zombie Coordinator (tips, ideas, questions);
• inspiring meeting with the other ambassadors (travel costs are reimbursed);
• reimbursement of expenses for projects or actions (on request).
