Volunteer with us to empower school students and enrich them with Energy Efficiency Simulation!

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and interested in educating others about energy efficiency? Join us as a volunteer facilitator for the Powering The Future 2026! This exciting simulation engages participants in hands-on learning experiences, empowering them to optimize energy usage and promote sustainability in their homes and communities.

We are looking for volunteers for these locations & times: 

  • Selangor: 15th June to 23rd June (Program days would be from Monday to Friday)
  • Putrajaya: 24th June to 29th June (Program days would be from Monday to Friday)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a group of students from primary and secondary schools.
  • Guide students through interactive activities and discussions, helping them understand energy efficiency concepts and develop practical strategies for conservation.
  • Assist students in navigating challenges and brainstorming solutions to achieve energy efficiency goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment, encourage students to share ideas, ask questions, and engage with the simulation effectively.

Requirements:

  • Passion for environmental sustainability and energy conservation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate group activities and discussions in an engaging and inclusive manner.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of students during the simulation sessions.
  • Fast-paced & quick learner.
  • Preferably: Able to speak both English and Bahasa.
  • Preferably university students from Selangor/ Putrajaya. 
  • Programme execution in Selangor will be around in these following districts: Hulu Selangor, Kuala Selangor and Sabak Bernam.
  • Those doing data entry are required to be present but will not be involved with the programme execution. 
  • Those doing photography are required to be present but will not be involved with the programme execution.
