Do you want to get started as a trained volunteer to help adults learn to read and write?
Gilde Amsterdam is happy to include you as a language trainer in the Language for Life team. You can register using the form on this page.
What happens after your registration?
You are invited for an introductory meeting. After the interview you know what is expected of you. If you want to get started, we will schedule you for the training. The training consists of four sessions. After the training you will know how to support people in learning to read and write and you can start. As a language volunteer you can support a student one-on-one after completing the training.
Accompaniment
During return meetings you can exchange experiences with other volunteers. Additional training sessions and workshops are organized based on the experiences.
