Become a Volunteer First Aid at Events

The Red Cross needs your help! Without volunteers, the Red Cross would be nowhere. They are there as soon as necessary, because in times of need nobody is alone. The Red Cross is here to help. Do you also help?

Since 2016, the Red Cross department has been supporting Wooden Events with First Aid. Event help can also be an assistance in the surveillance and guidance of large public groups.

In marathons and other major sporting events called on Red Crossers from all over the Netherlands.

The Red Cross Houten has a group of 18 trained First Aid workers. In Houten we are present at the truck tour and the Q-Music festival. Expansion is possible to support all kinds of sports tournaments. Get in touch

The Red Cross Houten is happy to get in touch with candidates who prefer a (para-) medical background or interested. The time investment is about nine times a year. A bet lasts about three to five hours.

We are looking for someone who:

• A valid first aid or resuscitation certificate has or is willing to achieve this
  
• The note First Aid for acute Sports Accidents has or is willing to be obtained
  
• Stress resistant and has about resilience
  
• Acting immediately when something happens
  
• Not afraid to take responsibility taking
  
• Good listening and responding to victims' needs
