Detailed description
The Dutch Red Cross has 25 districts. This one are geographically equal to the security regions of the government. Each district has a Volunteer Manager (VM) who volunteers in the departments guides and guides.
As Region Manager you represent all young volunteers in the districts.
You have five districts under you and work closely together with the relevant Volunteer Managers.
Region 1: Groningen, Friesland, Drenthe, IJsselland,
Flevoland:
Region 2: Twente, North and East Gelderland, Gelderland Midden, Utrecht, Gooi and
Fighting region;
Region 3: North Holland North, Zaanstreek Waterland, Kennemerland, Amsterdam Amstelland
and Haaglanden;
Region 4: Hollands Midden, Rotterdam Rijnmond, South Holland South, Zeeland and
Middle West Brabant;
Region 5: Gelderland South, Brabant North, Brabant South East, North and Middle
Limburg and South Limburg.
Who to search we?
An enthusiastic youngster who:
- is of a growing youth network and
to inspire and activate peers;
- To be involved in strengthening the youth network;
- wants to commit for the full 100%. The bet is for about 4 hours per
week.
What are you going to do as Regional Manager
As Regional Manager you connect and strengthen youth network within your districts. You are also the driver of the projects that young people set up within your district. In concrete terms this means that you:
- Together with the National Youth Commission and Volunteer Managers
are involved in the design of youth teams;
- Youth teams support in setting up projects;
- Consistency of young people in the districts strengthened by organizing
informal network drinks;
- Meetings (digital and face-to-face) with the Youth Teams,
young Red Cross volunteers from the region and interested people;
- Know what the needs of young people in the districts are and advice
the National Youth Commission on the progress of the Youth teams in the
districts;
- Closely cooperates with the National Youth Commission in carrying out the Youth policy.
You are a regional manager ...
- Good at inspiring and engaging young people;
- Listen carefully and translate young people's ideas into concrete
advice;
- Experienced in organizing events and projects;
- Familiar with the organization and the principles of the Red Cross (is an advantage);
- An initiator;
- A tacker;
- At least 1 year available for the job;
- Between 18 and 35 years .
